ACB is a small, woman and minority owned business centrally located in Newark, New Jersey, that provides construction and project management services to our clients as their agents.
Our Core Team
ALICIA BIASOTTI BELOTTA; OWNER AND PROJECT EXECUTIVE
With over twenty five years of relevant experience in the public and private sector, Alicia Biasotti Belotta founded ACB Consulting Services to continue to provide clients with the same level of management and consulting services that established her first-rate reputation as project executive and program manager.
In the last 17 years, Ms. Biasotti Belotta has led and managed over $1 billion of combined preconstruction, program management and construction management services in which she personally managed and organized multiple staff teams, contractors, design consultants, code officials and multiple public sector clients including several Public School Districts.
Ms. Biasotti Belotta understands the importance of combining Development in Newark with creation of jobs for Newark residents. She has been advocating and tracking Newark resident’s involvement since 2010 by negotiating with labor unions and contractors. The Lincoln Towers project, a 37 million dollar rehabilitation project is a perfect example of how she persists that no requirements are conceded when it comes to compliance. This project is one of the only all union labor projects in the City of Newark that has achieved a forty percent Newark resident compliance. She has the ability to manage the construction of the project on behalf of the client, without compromising any project requirements.
Ms. Biasotti Belotta oversees all operations, business development and marketing activities within the company. Ms. Biasotti Belotta promotes and supports her staff by providing excellent client relationships which leads to satisfied clients as well as the successful acquisition of work for the company.
ANGEL MARTINEZ, SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Mr. Martinez is an architect professional who has over twenty years of experience in management of the design process and construction in the private and public sector.
He joined the ACB team in 2018 after a long fulfilling architectural career where he was involved with many Essex County projects including parking garages.
As the Senior Project Manager, Mr. Martinez is responsible for ensuring that all projects assigned to him are properly managed, run efficiently, effectively and that all contractual requirements between the contractor and the client are being met. He also provides technical evaluations of design and construction documents before projects are advertised to be bid and makes recommendations as it relates to the constructability of buildings and bid
contract documents. In particular for this project, Mr. Martinez brings a wealth of experience and diversity of projects.
ALBERT BAIRD, PROJECT MANAGER
Albert Baird has over 35 years of building and heavy construction experience on a wide range of projects including schools, office building, garages, utility installation, pile driving, boreholes in soil and rock formations, construction testing, stratification of soil, soil testing, and geophysical test methods.
Mr. Baird has held positions over the last several years as Construction Manager, Project Manager and Quality Control Manager. His experience includes construction management, supervision, job scoping, constructability review, contract bid estimate, review job scope, review design development drawings and specifications, pre-bid and pre-construction meeting, contract documents preparation and review, coordination of trades, contract administration, field inspection oversight, RFI review, review of shop drawings, project meetings, daily and monthly project reports, punch lists, as-built drawing review, close-outs, cost and time management, document control, estimating, CPM scheduling review and updates, change order preparation and negotiations, inspection and quality assurance.
VICTOR AYOOLA, ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Victor Ayoola has 5 years of experience as an assistant project manager. As an assistant project manager, Victor is responsible for assisting the project manager and making sure that all logs, reports, submittals, etc., are up to date, complete and accurate.
